Delta Air Lines unveiled three significant upgrades to its Delta Business program on March 26, marking the beginning of a new era in business travel. As the airline commemorates its 100th anniversary, these modifications are intended to give business travelers more flexibility, visibility, and assistance.
The first of the three enhancements is the Unused Ticket Transfer program. The airline said in a press release that it is a direct response to feedback from corporate clients. This new initiative allows businesses to transfer eligible unused tickets from individual travelers back into their company's corporate spending account. This shift provides corporations more flexibility in managing unused ticket value, effectively allowing them to control the funds and make better use of their travel budgets.
Another innovation, the enhanced Data & Reporting Snapshot, ensures that corporate clients have access to pertinent information by sending personalized, rotating analytics straight to their inboxes.
In addition to these tools, Delta is extending its on-demand support capabilities by offering 24/7 access to the Corporate Solutions team, powered by Global Sales Solutions (GSS). Previously available only to travel agents, this service will now be directly available to corporate travel managers for urgent issues and escalated concerns.
"These innovations mark a significant step forward for Delta Business and the corporate travel industry," Bob Somers, Senior Vice President of Global Sales said in a press release. "We are committed to providing flexible, data-driven, and customer-focused solutions that enhance the overall experience for our corporate customers. As we celebrate our Centennial year, we look forward to continuing to lead the way in corporate travel innovation."
Delta has been operating Normandy charters since 2022.
In August 2024, the airline introduced the Delta Business Traveler rewards program, which gives frequent business travelers additional perks such as miles for car rentals, complimentary Hertz Five Star status, and a free trial for premium workspace access with Industrious. These additions are intended to add more value to the SkyMiles award program and offer corporate travelers more rewards aligned with their unique needs.
Delta's efforts have not gone unnoticed. In November last year, Delta was recognized for the 14th consecutive year as the top airline for business travelers in Business Travel News' annual survey.

Steve Sear, E.V.P., Global Sales and Distribution, said in a press release. "But we remain on top because we have the right – and most importantly, resilient – teams in place to get the job done. We are 100,000 employees strong working towards one common purpose – providing a safe, reliable and holistic travel experience for every single one of our customers."
The two hangars in the museum have been renamed and given a new look.
The upgraded Delta Business Program is another part of the Centennial celebrations. Delta Air Lines recently introduced a commemorative trading card collection, designed to celebrate the airline's remarkable 100-year journey. These limited-edition cards, which feature Delta's new Centennial colors and branding, are set to captivate both customers and collectors. The collection includes different aircraft models in Delta's fleet, from the A220-300 to the A350. The cards will be handed out to passengers by pilots, continuing a beloved tradition that Delta has maintained for over two decades.
Delta also marked its centennial year with a striking new livery, unveiled on an Airbus A321neo at a gala event earlier this month. The design, which features a majestic swoosh in shades of blue and silver, symbolizes Delta's continued growth and innovation over the last 100 years. It will also be added to one of Delta's Airbus A350 jets later this spring. The new livery was designed by Delta employee Aaliyah McNeal, making it a true in-house creation.
To further honor the airline's history, Delta will debut a special safety video in April titled "A Hundred Years of Safety," featuring 11 Delta logos and 10 employees wearing historically accurate uniforms provided by the Delta Flight Museum. The safety demo will blend essential safety information with significant historical moments and appearances from iconic figures like "Deltalina," the famous flight attendant from Delta's 2008 safety video.
